ecorating rooms in her imagination and bringing them alive is something Charlotte Meyer already did passionately as a child. As a result of frequently moving during her life, decorating new homes, finding the right space for furniture and objects and selecting suitable colors and fabrics became “business as usual”. Crucial here was always creating the perfect balance between old keepsakes and new objects of desire: feeling at ease in your home and at the same time creating something special with exciting and inspiring highlights. In doing so the term “Plume” was always an expression of strong ”gusto” in Charlottes family hence also the namesake for her interior design company.
To this day the concept “New isn’t always the best” holds true for Charlotte Meyer old furniture and objects can set just the right tone in a new space and bring it into a new light. If you really fall in love with an object, a fabric or a wallpaper design it will fit. To this effect Charlotte Meyer combines fearlessly from Swedish antiques to design classics from the thirties and contemporary pieces. Upon completion of her studies Charlotte Meyer worked in the fashion- and consumer goods industry as a Marketing- and PR-Manager. Prior to moving to Munich Charlotte lived in Zurich and New York. Charlotte Meyer holds a Diploma in Interior Design from the Inchbald School of Design in London as well as a Bachelor in Business Administration and Fashion Marketing.
